A new trailer for Pokémon Sword & Shield has been released and reveals several new Pokémon:
, a Fairy type Pokémon that looks like a whipped cream dessert. Ability:Sweet Veil
, the Electric type corgi Pokémon that was seen in the E3 demo, is officially announced.
, a Rock type Pokémon that looks like a lump of coal. Its ability isHeatproofor a new ability
which raises its Speed when hit by a Fire- or Water-type move.
, a Steel/Dragon type Pokémon. Abilitiy:Light MetalorHeavy Metal.
The trailer also reveals new characters including Chairman Rose, chairman of the Galar Pokémon League; his secretary Oleana; and gym leaders Bea and Allister. These two gyms are version exclusive – Beas Fighting type gym is exclusive to Pokémon Sword, while Allisters Ghost type gym is exclusive to Pokémon Shield.
Gigantamaxis another new phenomenon in the Galar region. Its similar to Dynamax but limited to select Pokémon, and the Pokémons appearance will also change. For example Alcremie becomes a giant multi-tiered cake, while Drednaw stands on its hind legs. Each Gigantamax Pokémon can also use a uniqueG-Maxmove.
