Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire — 11 August, 2014
Three new Mega Evolutions have been revealed! They are Mega Altaria, Mega Salamence and Mega Lopunny and will be available in the upcoming remakes Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.
Mega Altariachanges to Dragon/Fairy type and has the ability Pixilate, turning Normal type moves into Fairy type. Mega Evolving increases its Attack, Special Attack and Defense.
Mega Salamenceremains Dragon/Flying type but has the ability Aerilate, turning Normal type moves into Flying type. Its Defense gains a huge boost.
Mega Lopunnychanges to Normal/Fighting type and it has the ability Scrappy, enabling it to hit Ghost types. It gains a boost to Attack and Speed.
Finally, it has been announced that a shiny Beldum will be available as an event for OR/AS shortly after launch! Well post more details when they come.
